John is a graduate in politics and International relations from Southampton University and has worked in the communications industry since 1980, initially in advertising with the Cornhill Group and thereafter in public relations and marketing. He has also worked closely with a number of voluntary sector organisations for over 10 years. John also has experience of working with various trade associations and was Vice Chairman of the Voucher Association in 1995.

Prior to joining Millennium summits in 2005, John was Director of Sales and marketing at Market forces Ltd, a medium sized International conference and public relations business. He has gained extensive experience of working with clients in the professional services sector, property, trade associations, IT consulting, summit planning and design.

John is now very much settled in Hong Kong, married to Kathy for the past 17 years with there two children, His passion includes watching horse racing at the Hong Kong Jockey Club ,attending golf tournaments and Australian vintage red wines.
