Charles graduated from The City of London University with a degree in Politics and Modern History. His career since then has spanned many disciplines, including, public affairs, PR, sales management, marketing, business development, new product development & research, M&A planning, corporate events and management consultancy.

He started his career as a policy researcher at the National Centre for Public Policy Research, a think tank based in Washington . He went on to work for a Member of Parliament and then joined a PR firm as a public affairs specialist. Charles had been active in politics since attending university.

In 1987 Charles joined Apex Services , a global employee benefits and Government services company. Here he performed a number of roles, including: sales, marketing, PR, public affairs and new product development. He developed a range of innovative new services including work-life consultancy and employee assistance help lines, his last role with the company was as Managing Director of Apex Services Australia, where he set up a new office in Sydney and managed a major acquisition.

Charles has been the Managing Director of Millennium summits since 2002, running the company with dedication and integrity. On the personal front he is married to Cindy for the past 14 years with one child, his passion is cricket, football and golf and is clearly getting good at this as he has recently won an amateur golf tournament here in Hong Kong.
